About
Shirakawa-go is a UNESCO World Heritage village of traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses with steep thatched roofs designed to withstand heavy snowfall. The village looks like a scene from a fairy tale, especially in winter when covered in snow and illuminated at night.
Crowd Avoidance
