About
Mt. Yoshino is Japan's most celebrated cherry blossom destination, with approximately 30,000 cherry trees covering the mountainside in four distinct zones that bloom sequentially from base to summit over three weeks in April.
Crowd Avoidance
Start early morning for the best experience and fewer people. Autumn foliage and cherry blossom seasons are the most crowded periods.
Getting There
Yoshino Station (Kintetsu Yoshino Line) — 90 minutes from Osaka-Abenobashi. Cable car available to mid-mountain.
